Andijan State Technical Institute hosted an international scientific and technical conference "Prospects for the Development of the Integration of Science and Production in Uzbekistan."

Leading scientists from Greece, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and our country participated in the conference, which was held as part of the InnoWeek-2023 international week of innovative ideas, with presentations of their projects.

Speaking at the conference, Ulugbek Madrahimov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Institute, said that large-scale work is being carried out in our country to create a higher education system that meets the main directions of socio-economic development and the requirements of international standards. He also noted the importance of integrating science and production in the training of professional personnel and wished success to the conference.

The conference featured presentations by Sharda University professors Dr. Puja, Sankar Ganesh, Ram Kumar, Gabriel Ogonmula, Deputy Director of the Khujand Polytechnic Institute for Science and Innovations Usmonjon Ahmedov, Head of the Department of Physics and Power Engineering of the Osh University of Technology Abdimitalib Satыbaldyyev, and Pakistani scientist Nurullah Sumro.

During the conference, the best practices of leading foreign countries in strengthening the integration of science, education, and production were analyzed, discussions were held on the achievements and issues awaiting resolution, and a number of urgent tasks were discussed.

At the end of the conference, certificates were awarded to active participants. The winners of the "Digital Institute - HACKATON" competition, held by the Department of Information Technologies of the Faculty of Intellectual Control and Computer Systems, were also awarded.
