Participation in the First Uzbekistan-China University of Science and Technology Innovation Conference held at North China University of Technology Arrived at 11:00 Chinese time on September 24 and checked into the hotel. On the first day of the event, the host university rector Professor Lifeng Zhang and his team solemnly welcomed the delegation of Uzbek universities and held talks aimed at strengthening cooperation between technical universities of the two countries. The two institutions also obtained licenses to establish 3 joint laboratories. 1. China-Uzbekistan "One Belt and One Road" Joint Laboratory for New Materials. 2. China-Uzbekistan "One Belt and One Road" Joint Laboratory for Energy Storage. 3. China-Uzbekistan “One Belt and One Road” Joint Laboratory on Traffic Control. On September 25, at 9:00, the official opening of the conference was held. The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by Jianqing Liyu, Deputy Minister of Education and Technology of China, Bobur Yahyoyev, Consul of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, heads of North China University of Technology and universities of Uzbekistan, as well as about 300 students of the International Faculty. At the conference, the rector of SHXTU solemnly presented the “symbolic sign” of laboratories established in universities of Uzbekistan to the officials of our delegation. After that, representatives of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute made a short presentation about their educational institution. In the second part of the conference, the participants were divided into groups and in seven thematic sessions, the Vice-Rector for Information Technologies of our institute Murodjon Sherboyev, the Head of the Department of Automation of Mechanical Engineering Production Azamatjon Yusupov, the Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering Dilyorbek Moydinov, and two professors and teachers participated with their reports. On September 26, until lunch, we got acquainted with the existing laboratories at the Institute, including robotics, materials science, mold 3D printers, Siemens, and IT laboratories. After lunch, we met with the Vice Minister of Education of China and the heads of 6 universities. On September 27, the official closing of the event took place. Certificates were awarded to the participants of the event. On September 28, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for International Relations regarding the Memorandum signed by the leaders of the Institute, and agreements were made on student exchange and participation in international robotics competitions.
